This weather-resistant polypropylene composite material is prepared from the following components by weight: Polypropylene 58.8–96.3 parts, polyethylene 1–5 parts, crosslinked polyethylene 2–4 parts, antioxidant 0.1–0.6 parts, light stabilizer 0.5–1 part, dispersant 0.1–0.6 parts; optionally including inorganic mineral filler 8–20 parts and toughening agent 3–10 parts. The target product is obtained by mixing the above components, melt-extruding them through a twin-screw extruder, and pelletizing. This invention incorporates a small amount of crosslinked polyethylene into polypropylene, inducing partial crosslinking during processing to enhance initial material strength. During subsequent aging, residual initiators within the matrix react under thermal and photochemical influences, triggering continuous crosslinking to form a network structure. This compensates for mechanical property loss due to aging, thereby improving weather resistance.
