An Impact-Resistant Modified Polypropylene and Its Preparation Method

The present invention discloses an impact-resistant modified polypropylene and its preparation method, falling within the field of polypropylene material technology. It comprises polypropylene resin, polyurea elastomer, β-nucleating agent masterbatch, and dispersant. Polypropylene resin and polyurea elastomer are added to a vacuum tank and mixed for 15–20 minutes under ultrasonic agitation and vacuum infusion coupling. then add β-nucleating masterbatch and dispersant, mixing for another 15–20 minutes under ultrasonic agitation and vacuum infusion coupling. Extrude the resulting melt using a twin-screw extruder at 60 rpm, pelletize it, and obtain the impact-modified polypropylene. The combination of polypropylene resin and polyurea elastomer via ultrasonic agitation and vacuum perfusion coupling introduces flexible molecular segments into the melt, enhancing polypropylene's thermal stability and impact resistance. These flexible segments also partially impede the crystalline arrangement of polypropylene molecules, thereby increasing β-crystal content.
