A Spray-Free Polycarbonate Material Resistant to High-SPF Sunscreen and Its Preparation Method

The present invention relates to a spray-free polycarbonate material resistant to high-SPF sunscreens and its preparation method. The material comprises the following components by weight: PC resin 71–93 parts; surface modification additive 5.0–15 parts; toughening agent 1.0–4.0 parts; inorganic filler 1.0–5.0 parts; antioxidant 0.1–1.0 parts; lubricant 0.1–1.0 parts; compatibilizer 0.5–5.0 parts. The raw materials are placed in a high-speed mixer for stirring. After thorough mixing, the material is fed into a twin-screw extruder. The extruder temperature is controlled at 250–280°C, with the main shaft speed set at 300–500 rpm. Under the screw's conveying, shearing, and kneading actions, the material is melted and compounded. It then undergoes extrusion through a die, stranding, cooling, and pelletizing to yield spray-free polycarbonate material resistant to high-multiple sunscreens. Compared to existing technologies, this invention effectively enhances sunscreen resistance while meeting the aesthetic requirements for spray-free materials.
