Wheat Straw Powder Polypropylene Wood-Plastic Composite Material and Its Preparation Method

The present invention relates to a wheat straw powder polypropylene wood-plastic composite material and its preparation method. The product comprises, by weight: 50-80 parts polypropylene resin, 3-8 parts surface-modified nanoparticles, 5-8 parts ethylene-octene copolymer, 15-30 parts wheat straw powder, and 1-3 parts silane coupling agent. The interfacially modified nanoparticles are obtained via electrostatic spray from an electrospray solution containing hydroxypropyl methylcellulose and ethyl cellulose; the wheat straw powder is alkali-treated wheat straw powder.

Preparation Method:

Components are added to a twin-screw extruder in weight ratios, then mixed and pelletized at 160–170°C to produce wheat straw powder polypropylene wood-plastic composites. The polypropylene and wheat straw powder exhibit excellent compatibility and uniform mixing in the product, and the method is simple to implement.
