The present invention relates to a preparation method of a biodegradable blend-modified microcellular foam material, belonging to the technical field of degradable foam materials. The operation steps are as follows: weighing poly(butylene terephthalate-co-adipate) (PBAT), polylactic acid-glycolic acid copolymer (PLGA), ionic liquid, nucleating agent and antioxidant at a mass ratio of 70–90:10–30:0.2–1:1–5:0.1–0.5, mixing uniformly, and performing melt reaction extrusion and pelletization in a twin-screw extruder to obtain a modified material; hot-press molding the modified material; and foaming with a supercritical gas foaming agent, followed by pressure holding, pressure relief nucleation, growth and solidification to obtain the blend-modified microcellular foam material. The technical solution proposed by the present invention can prepare a high-performance degradable foam material with high foaming ratio, high cell density, high strength, small shrinkage and fast degradation, solving the technical difficulty of PBAT foaming. The production process of the present invention is simple in operation, green and environment-friendly, and has broad application prospects.
