A High-Concentration Flame-Retardant Masterbatch for Polyolefins, and Its Preparation Method and Application

The present invention discloses a high-concentration flame retardant masterbatch for polyolefins, as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The preparation method of the high-concentration flame retardant masterbatch for polyolefins comprises: fully mixing a first part of piperazine pyrophosphate, a first part of melamine pyrophosphate and polyolefin resin in a high-speed mixer to obtain a flame retardant premix with 45–55% by mass of effective flame retardant components; then performing extrusion and pelletization using a twin-screw extruder, wherein the flame retardant premix is fed from the main feed port of the twin-screw extruder, a second part of piperazine pyrophosphate and a second part of melamine pyrophosphate are respectively fed from two side feed ports of the twin-screw extruder, and the masterbatch is collected after extrusion and pelletization to obtain the high-concentration flame retardant masterbatch; the mass fraction of effective flame retardant components in all the fed raw materials is 78–84%. The premixing and split feeding method of the present invention can well prepare masterbatch with both high concentration and high dispersibility, and has excellent application performance in synthetic resin processing samples.
