The present invention discloses a flame-retardant and wear-resistant plastic particle and a production process thereof, belonging to the technical field of polymer materials, comprising the following raw materials in parts by weight: 70–80 parts of polyethylene, 10–15 parts of composite microspheres, 2–3 parts of ammonium polyphosphate and 15–20 parts of maleic anhydride grafted polyethylene. The production process comprises the following steps: adding the above raw materials into a mixer for uniform stirring, then feeding into a twin-screw extruder for melt extrusion at 200–240°C, water cooling, pelletizing and drying to obtain flame-retardant and wear-resistant plastic particles. In the present invention, composite microspheres are prepared by loading nano-sized layered double hydroxides with polyaryletherketone microspheres as carriers. The composite microspheres have excellent compatibility and bonding force with the polyethylene matrix, significantly improving the flame retardancy and wear resistance of polyethylene plastic particles, and can be used in a wider range of fields.
