The invention discloses a modified polyoxymethylene material and its preparation method. The material consists of 75.80-88.89% copolymerized polyoxymethylene resin, 9.0-21.3% thermoplastic polyurethane, 0.89-1.95% inorganic nanomaterials, 0.29-0.34% antioxidant, 0.13-0.15% lubricant, 0.10-0.12% formaldehyde absorbent and 0.43-0.68% compatibilizer. Through two-step melt blending, the mixture is extruded into strands, cooled, pelletized and dried by a twin-screw extruder. The modified polyoxymethylene material achieves a notched impact strength of 16.83 kJ/m², nominal tensile strain at break of 66% and flexural modulus of 1720 MPa. It possesses balanced comprehensive mechanical properties with greatly improved toughness while maintaining stable strength and rigidity.
