The invention discloses a brominated flame-retardant polyamide composition with improved air entrapment. In terms of mass percentage, the composition includes 30.0~80.0 wt% aliphatic polyamide, 10~30.0 wt% brominated flame retardant, 3.0~10.0 wt% flame retardant synergist and 0.3~5.0 wt% aromatic zinc carboxylate. It may further contain 5.0~50.0 wt% reinforcing agents and 0.1~5.0 wt% other auxiliaries, with the total mass fraction of all components reaching 100 wt%. The composition is manufactured by melt blending through a single-screw or twin-screw extruder. By adopting aromatic zinc carboxylate, the composition avoids the adverse effects of acid scavengers and zinc oxide on flame retardancy, effectively eliminates air entrapment defects, and maintains stable flame resistance and excellent mechanical performance.
