A Continuous Apparatus and Method for Preparing Small-Particle Reclaimed Rubber with Low Mooney Rebound

The present invention discloses a continuous apparatus and method for producing low Mooney rebound recycled rubber particles, comprising a base. One side of the base top features a motor, while the opposite side houses a mounting bracket. The motor's output end connects to both a reduction gearbox and a twin-screw extrusion mechanism. The reduction gearbox's input end interfaces with the twin-screw extrusion mechanism. The twin-screw extrusion mechanism internally comprises a first compression conveying section, a compression refining section, a shear refinement section, and a flow stabilization cooling conveying section. This invention achieves continuous automation in recycled rubber refining production, conducting the entire process in a sealed environment for environmental protection and labor savings. By introducing supercritical carbon dioxide fluid into the compression refining section, the Mooney viscosity of desulfurized rubber powder is significantly reduced while homogenizing and disrupting cross-linked networks. Additionally, this reduces extruder torque, substantially lowering equipment manufacturing complexity and energy consumption.
