The present invention discloses a hydrolytically stable polybutylene terephthalate composition and its preparation method, comprising the following components and weight parts: Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT resin): 70–90 parts, Aliphatic polyamide polymer: 10–25 parts, Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE resin): 2–5 parts, Antioxidant: 0.1–2 parts; The hydrolysis-resistant PBT composition is prepared through the following steps: PBT resin, aliphatic polyamide polymer, PTFE resin, and antioxidant are added to a mixing stirrer for blending. The resulting mixture is co-extruded and pelletized via a twin-screw extruder. Melt extrusion followed by pelletization yields the hydrolysis-resistant polybutylene terephthalate composition. Compared to prior art, the present invention employs aliphatic polyamide polymer and PTFE resin to enhance PBT resin hydrolysis resistance, yielding hydrolyse-resistant PBT with superior performance.
