The monofilament comprises the following components: nylon resin; nano-aluminum oxide-modified polycaprolactam resin; antioxidant; and the total weight parts of the nylon resin and the nano-aluminum oxide-modified polycaprolactam resin is 100; wherein the nano-aluminum oxide-modified polycaprolactam resin is prepared by extruding modified nano-aluminum oxide and caprolactam through a twin-screw extruder, and the surface of the modified nano-aluminum oxide is coated with a silane coupling agent. In this embodiment, by using the nano-aluminum oxide-modified polycaprolactam resin, the two components in the nano-aluminum oxide-modified polycaprolactam resin are uniformly distributed; meanwhile, grafting polycaprolactam onto the surface of nano-aluminum oxide can improve the compatibility between nano-aluminum oxide and nylon resin, so that the prepared nylon monofilament has high mechanical strength.
