Polycarbonate-Based Nanocomposite for 3D Printing and Method for Its Preparation

The present invention relates to the technical field of 3D printing polymer materials, and discloses a polycarbonate-based nanocomposite for 3D printing and a preparation method thereof. The raw materials comprise the following components in weight percentage: 60–80% of polycarbonate matrix, 10–30% of polymer resin, 2–6% of compatibilizer and 1–4% of nano-reinforcing filler. The raw materials are dried and mixed uniformly according to the weight percentage, then fed into a twin-screw extruder for melt extrusion and pelletization; the pellets are dried and then fed into a twin-screw extruder to prepare 3D printing filaments; finally, the obtained 3D printing filaments are fed into a fused deposition modeling (FDM) 3D printer to prepare 3D printed products. The polycarbonate-based nanocomposite of the present invention has excellent 3D printing performance, and is especially suitable for fused deposition modeling 3D printing. The finished product printed by the preparation method of the present invention has no warpage or defects, has good comprehensive mechanical properties, and can meet different practical application requirements. The preparation method of the present invention is simple to operate, efficient, pollution-free, and convenient for industrial production.
