A Desulfurization Method for Waste Tire Rubber Powder

The present invention provides a desulfurization method for waste tire rubber powder. Add 100 parts by weight of waste tire rubber powder and 5-20 parts by weight of extracted oil to a sealed container, mix uniformly at room temperature, then add 5-10 parts by weight of dithiol and 5-10 parts by weight of lauric acid, mix uniformly to obtain a primary mixture; Heat the initial mixture to 90–100°C and stir at 600 rad/min for 30 minutes to obtain a mixed compound. Melt-extrude the compound using a conical twin-screw extruder equipped with a recirculation function and controllable extrusion time. Set the screw speed to 80–100 rad/min, barrel temperature at 220°C, and extrusion time at 15 minutes. After extrusion, pelletize the material to complete the desulfurization process of waste tire rubber powder, yielding desulfurized rubber. This invention enables precise desulfurization with simple operation, low energy consumption, and high desulfurization efficiency.
