The present invention discloses a method for preparing composite 3D printing filament, comprising: a) adding a medical polymer matrix to a twin-screw extruder for preliminary plasticization; b) adding bioactive glass fibers to the preliminarily plasticized polymer matrix via side feeding within the twin-screw extruder, blending them, and subsequently extruding the filament through the extruder's die. The composite 3D printing filament preparation method of the present invention employs a twin-screw extruder to directly process polymer matrix pellets and continuous glass fiber raw materials. Only a single thermal processing step is required to form the final filament product, eliminating the multi-step thermal processing typically involved in most composite 3D printing filament preparations—which includes pre-mixing, pelletizing, followed by single-screw extrusion. This results in materials with superior thermodynamic stability and mechanical properties, while ensuring predictable degradation characteristics.
