The preparation method comprises: feeding a lubricant, compatibilizer, toughening agent, first polylactic acid and second polylactic acid into a twin-screw extruder and mixing uniformly; according to the addition amount of the second polylactic acid, adding glass fiber and modified bamboo fiber into the twin-screw extruder, mixing uniformly again and co-extruding and granulating to obtain the composition for a degradable cup lid. The weight-average molecular weight of the first polylactic acid is 5,000 to 10,000, and that of the second polylactic acid is 250,000 to 300,000. The modified bamboo fiber is surface-modified with calcium carbonate and loaded with an antibacterial agent. The composition for a degradable cup lid obtained by the preparation method of the invention has good degradability, mechanical properties, heat resistance and antibacterial activity.
