The hydrophobic and heat-resistant PBS material includes the following raw materials in parts by weight: 95～98 parts of polybutylene succinate, 0.5～3.0 parts of castor oil, 0.5～3.0 parts of isocyanate, and 0.0～5.0 parts of initiator. The preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing PBS, castor oil, isocyanate and initiator in a twin-screw extruder, followed by melting, extrusion, cooling and pelletizing. Castor oil is introduced into PBS molecular chains via isocyanate modification, endowing the modified PBS with higher heat deflection temperature and excellent hydrolysis resistance.
