A Flame-Retardant Polyester Fiber and Its Preparation Process

The present invention relates to the technical field of polyester fibers, in particular to a flame-retardant polyester fiber and a preparation process thereof. In the present invention, an intermediate is reacted with DOPO to obtain modified DOPO containing elements such as N, Si, B and S, forming a multi-element synergistic effect; then the modified DOPO is subjected to melt polycondensation with 6-hydroxy-2-naphthoic acid, 4,4'-oxydibenzoic acid and 4,4'-dihydroxybiphenyl to prepare a flame retardant; polyester chips and flame retardant are mixed uniformly, melt-extruded, strand-drawn and pelletized by a twin-screw extruder to prepare flame-retardant masterbatch; the flame-retardant masterbatch and polyester chips are mixed uniformly and melt-spun to obtain flame-retardant polyester fiber. The flame-retardant polyester fiber prepared by the present invention has excellent mechanical properties, flame retardancy and heat resistance.
