The product comprises, by weight: 75-85 parts PBT, 15-25 parts toughening agent, 0.5-3 parts chain extender, and 0-1.5 parts additives;

The toughener is a copolymer of organosiloxane, acrylic rubber, methyl methacrylate, and glycidyl methacrylate;

The toughener exhibits a core-shell structure, with an outer shell composed of methyl methacrylate and glycidyl methacrylate, and an inner core composed of organosiloxane and acrylic rubber;

The chain extender is an epoxy resin chain extender;

Preparation method:

After uniformly mixing all components by weight ratio, a high-rigidity, cold-resistant, ultra-tough PBT composite material is produced by extrusion pelletization using a twin-screw extruder, wherein the extrusion temperature of the twin-screw extruder is 220–240°C.

The method of the present invention is simple, and the product of the present invention exhibits high rigidity, cold resistance, and ultra-toughness.
