The laser-weldable carbon fiber-modified PEEK material and its preparation method provided by this invention pertain to the field of specialty engineering plastics; The material primarily comprises: 60–120 parts by weight of first PEEK resin, 15–30 parts by weight of second PEEK resin, 10–20 parts by weight of carbon fiber, 5–10 parts by weight of low-dielectric glass fiber, 5–10 parts by weight of hollow glass microspheres, 1–2 parts by weight of light-transmitting black pigment, 1–2 parts by weight of compatibilizer, 1–2 parts by weight of heat stabilizer, 1–2 parts by weight of antioxidant, and 1–2 parts by weight of lubricant. The preparation method involves feeding the weighed raw materials into the extruder through three hoppers of a twin-screw extruder. The materials undergo melting reaction, extrusion, cooling, pelletizing, and drying to obtain the product. The carbon fiber-modified PEEK material produced exhibits excellent light transmission and high weld strength, facilitating secondary processing of PEEK products with complex shapes and structures, thereby expanding the application scope of PEEK materials.
