The melt delivery system continuously guides the melt from the screw feeding device through the mold feed inlet into the mold cavity. The system of the present invention enables melt entering the screw feeding device to be directly conveyed into the compression mold for storage, reducing the dwell time of the melt prior to the compression mold and improving the yield and performance stability of the finished product.
