The preparation method of the long-afterglow luminescent material comprises: feeding plastic resin and light and thermal aging inhibitor from the main feeder, heating and melting via a twin-screw extruder; dispersing luminescent powder in the liquid carrier by ultrasound, then pumping into the extruder barrel from the top via a liquid metering pump, mixing with molten plastic and extruding through a die head. The long-afterglow luminescent material prepared by the invention does not blacken, has high luminous intensity and long luminescence duration, with luminescence exceeding 12 hours in a dark environment.
