The present invention provides a low-temperature resistant, high-strength polyethylene material comprising the following raw materials by mass fraction: Polyethylene: 70–90%, Toughening agent: 5–14%, Plasticizer: 5–14%, Antioxidant: 0.1–1%, UV absorber: 0.1–0.2%, Filler: 0–10%, Lubricant: 0–1%. The toughening agent comprises hydrogenated styrene-butadiene block copolymer and/or hydrogenated styrene-isoprene copolymer; the plasticizer consists of mineral oil or heat transfer oil. The present invention blends SEBS with mineral oils such as white oil to jointly toughen and modify the polymer. The resulting material maintains an impact strength exceeding 80 kJ/m² even at extremely low temperatures of -45°C. Furthermore, the production equipment is simple, enabling preparation on both single-screw and twin-screw extruders. The invention also provides a method for preparing low-temperature resistant, high-strength polyethylene materials.
