A Method for Continuous Preparation of Nylon

The present invention provides a method for the continuous production of nylon, comprising the following steps: reacting a dicarboxylic acid with a diamine in a microchannel reactor, wherein a capping agent is simultaneously added to the reaction to obtain a post-reaction solution; transferring the post-reaction solution to a first intermediate vessel for pH adjustment and monitoring, and feeding the post-reaction solution with qualified pH to a twin-screw extrusion unit for strand extrusion and cutting to obtain nylon products. The use of a capping agent in the present method significantly reduces decomposition issues caused by excessive reaction speed and high temperatures. Furthermore, the microchannel reactor enables timely heat removal, minimizes reaction time, and achieves continuous nylon production.
