A Modified Foamed Polystyrene Material and Its Preparation Method

The present invention relates to the technical field of polymer materials, and discloses a modified polystyrene foaming material and a preparation method thereof. The modified polystyrene foaming material comprises polystyrene, polybutene, a compatibilizer, a nucleating agent, a fluoride and a flame retardant. All components are uniformly mixed in proportion, extruded into sheets through a twin-screw extruder, then the extruded sheets are placed in the mold cavity of a molding and foaming equipment for supercritical carbon dioxide foaming, and the modified polystyrene foaming material is obtained after shaping. In the present invention, polybutene is used for toughening modification of polystyrene, and the semi-crystalline property of polybutene is utilized to regulate the cell structure of the polymer foaming material. Perfluorinated compounds are used in synergy with polybutene to improve the UV aging resistance of the composite material, and the synergistic effect of multiple elements including nitrogen, phosphorus and bromine is utilized to enhance the flame retardant performance of the composite material. The polystyrene foaming material obtained by the present invention has crack resistance, aging resistance, high flame retardancy and excellent mechanical properties, and has broad application prospects.
