The preparation method comprises: heating and kneading nylon 66 resin, nylon 6 resin, modified microspheres, flame retardant, antioxidant, and compatibilizer to obtain a mixture; feeding the mixture, polysiloxane, and reinforcing fibers into a twin-screw extruder, melt-extruding, cooling, and drying to obtain flame-retardant nylon; wherein the flame retardant is obtained by: heating a solution of trichlorocyanuric acid with a phosphorous diamine solution to form Solution A; dissolving divalent and trivalent metal salts in water to form Solution B; adding Solution B to Solution A under stirring while incorporating nano-manganese dioxide and urea; subjecting the mixture to high-pressure reaction to yield a reaction product; and separating, washing, and drying the reaction product to obtain the flame retardant. By compounding nylon 66 resin with nylon 6 and incorporating the flame retardant, a product with high strength and excellent flame retardancy is obtained, suitable for new energy vehicles.
