The invention discloses a supercritical foamed PLA material and a preparation method thereof, belonging to the technical field of biodegradable polymer materials. The invention uses PLA as raw material, peroxide as initiator, and a reagent containing diepoxy functional groups as chain extender, prepares long-chain branched PLA (LCB-PLA) using a twin-screw extruder, and uses supercritical CO₂ as foaming agent to prepare the supercritical foamed PLA material using a supercritical CO₂ fluid reaction device. The invention adds a chain extender to the components and combines it with supercritical CO₂ to batch-foam the PLA material. The obtained PLA foam has uniform cells and high cell density; low foam density, with an average foam density lower than 31 kg/m³; high foaming ratio, with an average foaming ratio of about 40; and excellent thermal insulation performance. Meanwhile, the foaming agent used in the invention is supercritical CO₂, and the preparation process is environmentally friendly and pollution-free.
