This invention pertains to the field of recycled polyester technology, specifically involving a method and production system for preparing recycled polyester staple fibers from polyester microplastics. The method comprises the following steps:
- Recycled polyester microplastics undergo spray drying;
- The polyester microplastics after primary drying are sent to a vacuum infrared drying apparatus for drying;
- Feeding the dried polyester microplastics into a shallow-trough twin-screw extruder to melt them into a polyester melt;
- Subjecting the polyester melt to primary filtration;
- Sending the filtered polyester melt to a polyester conditioning and viscosity adjustment system;
- Passing the conditioned and viscosity-adjusted polyester melt through secondary filtration into a spinning tank for spinning to produce primary fibers.
This invention addresses technical challenges in regenerative spinning of polyester microplastics. By drying, melting, filtering, conditioning, and spinning the microplastics, regenerative primary fibers are obtained. These primary fibers undergo drawing, cutting, and relaxation heat setting to produce high-quality regenerative polyester staple fibers.
