The invention relates to a thermoplastic polymer composition comprising polyamide, a preparation method thereof, and a vibration-damping device for automobiles. The composition (I1, I2, I3, I4) comprises: an aliphatic polyamide; a polyphthalamide derived from a C₆–C₁₂ aliphatic diamine and an aromatic diacid including terephthalic acid, wherein the weight ratio of aliphatic polyamide/polyphthalamide is > 1; and a reinforcing filler comprising glass fiber. After conditioning at "RH50", the composition has a maximum tanδ value according to ISO 6721‑5 at 60–90°C and 1–3000 Hz, wherein (i) tanδ > 4.20% at 60°C, and/or (ii) tanδ > 4.00% at 80°C, and/or (iii) tanδ > 3.80% at 90°C.
