A Manufacturing Method for Polysulfone Composite Pellets Containing Toughening Materials

The present invention discloses a method for manufacturing polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) compound pellets containing toughening materials, comprising: adding antioxidants, micron-sized PA6 elastomer toughening materials, and other fillers to a non-linear PPS resin, then thoroughly mixing them in a high-speed mixer to obtain a PPS resin premix; The resulting PPS resin premix is then co-extruded with glass fibers surface-treated with β-(3,4-epoxycyclohexyl)ethyltrimethoxysilane (A-168) in a twin-screw extruder. The extrudate is cooled and pelletized to form the final composite pellets. The composite pellets produced by this method exhibit high heat distortion stability and tensile strength, with low metal corrosion rates. They find broad application in electronics, electrical appliances, machinery, chemical engineering, petroleum, military, and aerospace sectors.
