The present invention discloses a method for preparing porous, hydrophilic, high-shrinkage PE/PP-modified PET fibers. This involves: Freezing the maleic anhydride-modified PE/PP copolymer with liquid nitrogen, grinding it into resin powder, blending it with PET resin powder, adding PEG, and melt-extruding and pelletizing it via a twin-screw extruder to produce spinning-grade chips; Melt-spinning the spinning-grade chips at a spinning speed of 1000–3000 m/min, with an initial spinning component pressure of 8–16 MPa, yielding hydrophilic, porous, high-shrinkage PE/PP-modified PET fibers. This invention prepares hydrophilic, porous, high-shrinkage PET fibers by blending and pelletizing PEG-added, maleic anhydride-graft-modified PE/PP with PET, followed by spinning.
