A Twin-Screw Extruder with an Automatic Cleaning Device

The present invention discloses a twin-screw extruder with an automatic cleaning device, comprising: twin screws, a base, a cleaning device, and a heating device. High-temperature resistant powerful magnets are embedded within the screws. The cleaning device includes a high-temperature resistant cleaning brush head and a first magnetic plate and a second magnetic plate connected to a spring. The heating device comprises a first heating tube installed within the first magnetic plate, a second heating tube installed within the second magnetic plate, and a third heating tube installed within the upper plate. Conductive elements are also installed within both magnetic plates. The heating tubes and conductive elements are arranged in parallel, operating independently to either heat individually or independently activate the magnetic properties of the magnetic plates. When energized, the magnetic plates become magnetized. Under the action of the magnetized twin screws, the cleaning brush head on the magnetic plate is drawn upward and engages with the screw grooves of the twin screws. When de-energized, under the action of the spring, it moves downward and separates from the twin screws. The design of the cleaning device in the technical solution of the present invention enables the cleaning brush head to be magnetically engaged with the twin screws, achieving effective cleaning of the extruder.
