The modified titanium dioxide is obtained from titanium dioxide, triethoxysilane polyethylene glycol mercaptan and allyltriphenylphosphonium bromide through a two-step reaction. The preparation method comprises: weighing raw materials according to the ratio, mixing HIPS, SBS elastomer, modified titanium dioxide, lubricant and antioxidant, feeding the mixture from the main feeder of a twin-screw extruder, and performing melt extrusion and granulation to obtain the SBS elastomer color masterbatch. The masterbatch prepared by the invention not only exerts a good toughening effect on HIPS, but also imparts excellent flame retardancy and antibacterial properties to the composite material.
