The preparation method comprises the following steps: S1, adding bio-based SEBS, bio-based polyolefin, and PPO into a high-speed mixer for thorough mixing to form a mixture; S2, adding additives and flame retardants during the mixture formation process to form a composition; S3, transferring the composition to a twin-screw extruder for melt extrusion granulation to obtain the bio-based flame-retardant TPE cable material. The bio-based flame-retardant TPE cable material composition prepared by this invention is made from partially bio-based raw materials, which is conducive to reducing carbon emissions and achieving sustainable development of polymer materials.
