A ceramicizable, burn-through resistant polyamide composite material and its preparation method

This invention relates to a ceramicizable, burn-through resistant polyamide composite material and its preparation method. The ceramicizable, burn-through resistant polyamide composite material, by weight, comprises 100 parts of polyamide resin, 12-18 parts of flame retardant, 15-40 parts of chopped glass fiber, 7-16 parts of glassy flame retardant powder, and 20-60 parts of composite ceramicizing powder; the components and weight parts of the composite ceramicizing powder are: 60-100 parts of calcium silicate, 0.5-2 parts of wetting agent, and 40-100 parts of low-melting-point glass powder; the melting point of the glassy flame retardant powder is 340-360℃, and the melting point of the low-melting-point glass powder is 500-650℃; the method involves first preparing the composite ceramicizing powder according to the ratio, then mixing the composite ceramicizing powder with other components to form a premix, which is then added to a twin-screw extruder for granulation, thereby obtaining the ceramicizable, burn-through resistant polyamide composite material. The method of this invention is simple, and the resulting polyamide composite material has characteristics such as flame retardancy, burn-through resistance, and environmental friendliness.
