A method for preparing zinc oxide refractory materials

The present invention relates to the technical field of zinc oxide refractory materials, and discloses a preparation method of a zinc oxide refractory material. In the present invention, graphene oxide modified epoxy resin, imidazolized phenolic resin, amino zinc oxide and mixed powder are added into a twin-screw extruder. The mixed powder comprises the following components by weight percentage: ZnO 99.8–99.9%, Fe₂O₃ 0.01–0.1%, MnO₂ 0.02–0.1%. The mixture is melt-blended and extruded, then injection-molded by an injection molding machine to obtain a zinc oxide refractory material. During melt blending, the amino groups in amino zinc oxide react with hydroxyl groups in imidazolized phenolic resin to form hydrogen bonds, and undergo ring-opening reaction with epoxy groups in graphene oxide modified epoxy resin, forming a molecular network among the three, enabling zinc oxide to flow rapidly and disperse more uniformly in the pores of polymer chains, toughening the phenolic resin and providing high thermal stability, further improving the fire resistance of the zinc oxide refractory material.
