The present invention relates to a high-strength degradable polyester composite material and a preparation method thereof, belonging to the technical field of polymer materials. The material is prepared by the following steps: modifying a cellulose micro-nano material with a silane coupling agent, grafting it onto camphoric acid activated by N,N'-carbonyldiimidazole, and then combining with tartaric acid to obtain a composite material; subjecting the composite material, dimethyl terephthalate and diol monomer to polycondensation to obtain a modified polyester material; mixing the modified polyester material, lubricant and antioxidant, and performing melt blending and extrusion through a twin-screw extruder to obtain the high-strength degradable polyester composite material. In the technical scheme of the present invention, the combination of modified camphoric acid and tartaric acid improves the thermal stability of the composite material and its interfacial compatibility with polyester; the polycondensation of the composite material with dimethyl terephthalate and diol enhances the strength, heat resistance and degradability of the polyester material, and comprehensively improves the overall performance of the polyester composite material.
