The present invention provides a preparation method of a functionalized graphene-modified ABS composite material, the preparation method comprising the following steps: preparing nano-zinc oxide loaded graphene oxide; preparing modified graphene; mixing 70–75 parts of ABS, 6–13 parts of polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), 15–19 parts of polycarbonate (PC), 4–7 parts of modified graphene, 3–6 parts of modified mica powder, 0.5–1 part of antioxidant, 1–2 parts of lubricant and 2–3 parts of toughening agent, and stirring at 210–230°C for 15–20 min to obtain a blend; feeding the blend into a twin-screw extruder, and performing extrusion, cooling, drying and pelletization to obtain the functionalized graphene-modified ABS composite material. The ABS composite material of the present invention has excellent heat deflection temperature, aging resistance, mechanical properties and scratch resistance, and can be used as a material for preparing electric hot water faucets.
