A High-Performance PCR Composite Material and Preparation Method Thereof

The present invention belongs to the field of materials, and discloses a high-performance PCR composite material and a preparation method thereof, comprising 10–20 parts of polyethylene, 0.1–0.5 parts of initiator, 0.1–0.5 parts of catalyst, 50–60 parts of PCR regrind, 10–20 parts of TPU, HEMA, and 5–10 parts of antioxidant. The preparation method comprises: blending PCR regrind with polyethylene to obtain a blend; mixing HEMA, TPU, initiator and catalyst for reaction to obtain HEMA-g-TPU; subjecting the blend and HEMA-g-TPU to plasma activation respectively to obtain a modified blend and modified HEMA-g-TPU; adding the modified blend and modified HEMA-g-TPU into a twin-screw extruder along with antioxidant, and processing via the extruder to obtain high-performance PCR composite material pellets. The material effectively solves the problem of insufficient mechanical properties of PCR regrind.
