A Black Glass Fiber Reinforced PBT Composite Material with High Laser Transmittance and Preparation Method Thereof

The present invention belongs to the field of polymer materials, in particular to a black glass fiber-reinforced PBT composite material with high laser transmittance and a preparation method thereof. The composite material comprises, in parts by weight, 35–46 parts of PBT resin, 10–25 parts of polycarbonate, 30 parts of rectangular cross-section glass fiber, 0.2–0.6 parts of lubricant, 0.2–0.6 parts of antioxidant, 0.05–0.2 parts of transesterification inhibitor, and 0.1–0.5 parts of black powder. PBT resin, polycarbonate, lubricant, antioxidant, transesterification inhibitor and black powder are mixed in a high-speed mixer for 1–2 minutes according to the ratio to obtain a premix; the premix is fed into a twin-screw extruder through a main hopper, rectangular cross-section glass fiber is added at a side feeder, and the mixture is melted, pelletized and extruded to obtain the black glass fiber-reinforced PBT composite material for laser welding. The use of flat glass fiber and compounded black powder significantly improves light transmittance, while PC enhances impact properties.
