The present invention relates to a 3D printing thermoplastic polyurethane material with high damping performance at room temperature and a preparation method thereof, comprising the following raw materials in parts by weight: 10–30 parts of isocyanate, 20–50 parts of polyol, 3–8 parts of diol chain extender, 1–5 parts of diamine chain extender, 1–20 parts of inorganic filler, 0.1–0.5 parts of catalyst. Adding isocyanate into polyol and stirring for reaction to obtain a prepolymer; uniformly mixing the obtained prepolymer, diol chain extender, diamine chain extender, inorganic filler and catalyst, and performing hot-press curing; pelletizing, adding into a twin-screw extruder for melt extrusion, then drawing and traction through a single-screw extruder to obtain a thermoplastic polyurethane filament for 3D printing. Compared with the prior art, the composite material of the present invention has a high loss factor and a wide damping temperature range at room temperature, its processing and molding method is simple and repeatable, and the material has good reprocessing performance. Combined with the high adaptability and flexibility of 3D printing technology, it can be applied to the manufacture of new damping and sound-absorbing structures.
