A fully biodegradable PLA/PPC composite material and its preparation method, involving a degradable material and its preparation method. The preparation method of the composite material is as follows: seal the end of PPC with maleic anhydride, mix a certain mass ratio of PLA, PPC, compatibilizer, initiator, nanoparticles, and antioxidant evenly, and then add them to a twin-screw extruder for melt blending. Cool to room temperature to obtain PLA/PPC composite material. The mechanical, optical, and DSC tests were conducted on the composite material, and the results showed that the addition of a compatibilizer can improve the compatibility of the PLA/PPC blend system, resulting in a composite material with excellent toughness and good optical properties. The added compatibilizer is inexpensive, safe and environmentally friendly, which to some extent reduces the cost in practical applications and has broad application prospects, expanding the application field of PLA composite materials.
