A High-Strength Soft Magnetic Composite Material for Injection-Molded Inductors and Method for Its Preparation

The present invention provides a soft magnetic composite material for high-strength injection-molded inductors and a preparation method thereof, comprising 70 wt%–96 wt% of soft magnetic powder, 2 wt%–25 wt% of thermoplastic resin and 2 wt%–5 wt% of fiber. The preparation method comprises the following steps: Step S1: uniformly mixing the soft magnetic powder, thermoplastic resin and fiber according to the set mass percentage, performing melt blending and pelletizing through a twin-screw extruder and an internal mixer to form a soft magnetic composite material; Step S2: putting a pre-wound spiral coil into an injection mold cavity, then melting and injecting the soft magnetic composite material prepared in Step S1 into the mold for injection molding to completely coat the coil, and taking out the product after cooling. The soft magnetic composite material adopting a thermoplastic resin system in the present invention can provide excellent mechanical properties and ensure reliable operation and long-term stability of inductive devices in various application scenarios.
