The present invention relates to a preparation method of an additive-modified polylactic acid-based biodegradable composite material, relating to a preparation method of a biodegradable composite material. The method comprises adding PLA, PBS, an environment-friendly additive and an antioxidant into a twin-screw extruder, and performing melt blending at a temperature of 150–220°C, a screw speed of 40–60 r/min and a feeding speed of 5–10 r/min to prepare a polylactic acid-based composite material. The present invention improves the compatibility of PLA and PBS by using an environment-friendly additive. Compared with pure PLA/PBS material, the PLA/PBS bio-based composite material has excellent comprehensive properties, and maintains excellent strength while improving toughness. Meanwhile, the prepared composite material has excellent optical and processing properties, the light transmittance is maintained above 95%, and the melt flow rate is increased from 6.85 g/10 min to 9.89 g/10 min. The production process of the present invention has strong operability, is easy for large-scale industrial production, and has broad application prospects.
