The method involves adding 100 parts by weight of polyolefin, 3-30 parts by weight of anthraquinone-type polyurethane, 0.5-2 parts by weight of peroxide initiator, and 0.1-5 parts by weight of optional additives to a twin-screw extruder for melting, extrusion, granulation, and then injection molding to obtain the final product. The anthraquinone-type polyurethane contains at least one first segment formed from diaminoanthraquinone and at least one second segment formed from at least one of polyether diol, polyester diol, and alkyl diol; the end group of the anthraquinone-type polyurethane is a carbon-carbon unsaturated double bond. The anthraquinone-type PU modified MBBR filler prepared according to the present invention features a carbon-carbon double bond capped polyurethane in its substrate, which undergoes polymerization and grafting reactions onto the polyolefin under the initiation of peroxide, exhibiting excellent impact resistance, wear resistance, and good water treatment efficiency.
