The invention provides polypropylene modified with ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, comprising the following raw materials: polypropylene, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, linear low-density polyethylene, compatibilizer, lubricant, processing base oil, antioxidant, and UV absorbent. The preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene with processing base oil to obtain pretreated ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene; mixing polypropylene, linear low-density polyethylene, compatibilizer, lubricant, antioxidant and UV absorbent to obtain a mixture, adding the pretreated ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene into the mixture and stirring to obtain a mixed material; melt-extruding the mixed material to obtain plastic strips; cooling and pelletizing the plastic strips to obtain modified polypropylene pellets. In the invention, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, polypropylene and other raw materials are mixed via a conical twin-screw extruder, and the prepared modified polypropylene has excellent friction resistance, toughness and UV aging resistance.
