The present invention discloses a method for enhancing the wear resistance of polypropylene monofilaments, comprising: preparing siloxane-grafted modified polypropylene masterbatch, surface modifying nanoparticles, preparing nanoparticle-modified polypropylene masterbatch, and producing high-strength wear-resistant polypropylene skin-core filaments. This invention employs a staged feeding approach: first, PP and compounds containing unsaturated groups are fed into the twin-screw extruder through the main feed port. Subsequently, the initiator is added via the side feed port using a color feeder. This prevents excessive degradation reactions caused by prolonged reaction times within the screw barrel, thereby enhancing grafting reaction efficiency. Additionally, the invention employs a skin-core composite method to enhance the abrasion resistance of polypropylene monofilaments without compromising their original mechanical properties.
