The mixture is conveyed by the twin screws to the rear of the extruder, where hollow glass microspheres are added in equal proportion. The material is melted, extruded, cooled, and pelletized through the twin-screw extruder to produce the desired elastic material. This invention achieves material lightweighting by using hollow glass microspheres as filler.
