An antibacterial fiber with thermo-responsive shape memory properties and its preparation method Methods

This invention belongs to the field of polymer materials technology, specifically relating to an antibacterial fiber with thermo-responsive shape memory properties and its preparation method. This invention uses a three-step method to prepare polyurethane, using polycaprolactone polyol and 1,6-hexamethylene diisocyanate as the reversible phase and fixed phase, respectively. Piperazine-based dynamic bond monomer and 2-bromo-2-nitro-1,3-propanediol are introduced as small molecule chain extenders to improve chain segment mobility and antibacterial properties, respectively, thereby preparing polyurethane with antibacterial and excellent shape memory properties. At the same time, 1,4-butanediol is used to replace the chain extender HEP in PPU to synthesize antibacterial shape memory polyurethane without dynamic bonds. The resulting polyurethane is then granulated using a twin-screw extruder. The two types of granules are mixed evenly and then processed by melt spinning or wet spinning to obtain antibacterial shape memory polyurethane fibers.
