The composite material comprises, in parts by weight, 80-95 parts of copolymerized polypropylene, 5-10 parts of a flame retardant, 2-4 parts of filled mineral, 0.5-1 part of an antibacterial agent and 0.8-1.4 parts of processing aids; the filled mineral is spherical silica powder. The preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing all components uniformly according to weight ratio, and adding into a twin-screw extruder for extrusion and granulation to obtain the extrusion-grade antibacterial and flame-retardant polypropylene composite material. The method of the invention has simple process, is green and environmentally friendly without pollution, and has stable continuity in the production process; the product of the invention has both excellent antibacterial and flame-retardant properties, with an antibacterial rate of 99.9% against Escherichia coli and 99.9% against Staphylococcus aureus, and a flame retardant grade of 0.8mm V2.
